Product Updates#

Updates can bring new features, compatibility, bug fixes, and security hardening.

Before updating#

1. Back up the database and files.
2. Ensure the license key is active on the correct domain.
3. Record the current version.
4. Export settings if the product provides them.
5. Test on staging for important production websites.

Installing updates#

Click Check Update on the product status/license page if available, then go to Dashboard > Updates. Theme updates also appear under Appearance > Themes and plugin updates under Plugins.

After updating#

Clear WordPress, server, object, and CDN caches. Check the homepage, single content, menus, sidebars, forms, scripts, ads, and responsive layout.
