Campaigns and Incoming Links#

Campaigns are a Premium Pro feature for increasing the number of internal links pointing to one important post. One campaign has one Target post, but it can analyze many source posts.

A campaign is not a collection of posts that need outgoing links, and it does not replace Auto Apply. Campaign results still go to Opportunities for review unless the separate global Auto Apply policy is enabled.

Usage example#

text
Target post: Complete WordPress Guide
Source category: WordPress
Incoming-link goal: 5
Minimum review confidence: 0.85

NexaLink finds articles in the WordPress category that could link to the target. An opportunity may look like this:

text
Source: How to Choose WordPress Hosting
Anchor: manage a WordPress website
Target: Complete WordPress Guide
Confidence: 89%

Progress changes from 0/5 to 1/5 only after the link is actually applied, not when the recommendation is first discovered.

Create a campaign#

  1. Open NexaLink > Campaigns.
  2. Click Create campaign.
  3. Enter a name that describes the campaign goal.
  4. Select one Published Target post.
  5. Optionally select a source category.
  6. Set an incoming-link goal and minimum confidence.
  7. Save the campaign.
  8. Click Find sources.

The target post cannot also be a source post. If no target appears in the list, make sure a Published post exists and your account is allowed to edit it.

Understand the campaign queue#

After Find sources, the campaign card displays:

  • Waiting: pending or currently processing;
  • Finished: analysis completed;
  • Failed: a job failed and requires review.

Click View queue to open NexaLink > Analysis with a filter for that campaign target. A repeated Find sources action showing 0 queued means the same source-target pairs are already queued or analyzed; duplicate protection does not create a second job.

After jobs succeed, click Review opportunities. A campaign job can complete successfully and still return no opportunities when it finds no sufficiently relevant anchor.

Campaign statuses#

  • Active can be used to find and monitor opportunities.
  • Paused preserves data while stopping new activity.
  • Archived keeps the history of a campaign that is no longer in use.

Archiving does not delete applied links, opportunities, or audit records.
