Back up your WordPress files and database before installing or updating the plugin on an active website.
Install from a ZIP file#
- Download the NexaLink package from the LeksaStudio Member Area.
- Extract the package ZIP on your computer if it contains multiple files.
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
- Select the installable
nexalink-{version}.zipfile. - Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
- Open NexaLink in WordPress Admin.
The correct installation directory is:
wp-content/plugins/nexalink/
After installation#
- Activate the license and select an AI Engine.
- Configure the Recommendation Policy.
- Analyze a small set of articles first.
- Review the recommendations before enabling scheduled analysis or Auto Apply.
Update the plugin#
Before updating, create a backup and confirm that the license is active. Update
through Dashboard > Updates, or upload the new ZIP and select Replace
current with uploaded. The private updater only offers releases for the
nexalink product, verifies RS256 metadata with an updater key separate from
the license key, restricts downloads to the official origin, and verifies the
package size and SHA-256 checksum before WordPress installs it. Clear caches
afterward, then test one analysis and one Apply/Rollback operation.
Deactivating NexaLink does not remove its data. Local data is removed during uninstallation only when the data-removal option is enabled in Settings.
