License, AI Engine, and Settings#

Open NexaLink > Settings as a WordPress Administrator.

Activate the license#

  1. Copy your NexaLink License Key from the Member Area.
  2. Enter it in the License section.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. Confirm that the license is active and the correct plan is displayed.

The license is bound to a domain and the plan's activation limit. Deactivate it on the old website before moving it to another domain.

Select an AI Engine#

  • Default LeksaStudio AI uses the managed service and your plan quota.
  • OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Groq, DeepSeek, Z.ai, and OpenRouter use your own provider key, also known as BYOK.

For BYOK, select an engine, enter the API key, optionally provide a model, and click Save settings. Leaving the key field empty preserves the stored key. Select Remove stored key to delete it.

BYOK costs, balance, models, rate limits, and acceptable-use policies are managed by your provider. Background automation uses Default LeksaStudio AI only; BYOK credentials are never placed in background jobs.

Recommendation Policy#

  • Candidate limit (1–5) controls the maximum number of local destination posts compared for each source post.
  • Recommendations (1–3) controls the maximum number of suggestions returned for one source post.
  • Minimum confidence (0–1) filters suggestions by AI confidence. 0.70 is a reasonable starting point.

Candidate limit is different from Bulk batch size. Candidate limit controls the destinations considered per source, while Bulk batch size controls the number of source posts in one bulk operation.

Use these rules to maintain quality:

  • minimum and maximum links per post;
  • minimum article word count;
  • minimum spacing between links;
  • excluded anchor terms, one term per line;
  • background Link Health scans;
  • weekly summaries sent to the WordPress administration email.

Rules are checked again during Apply. A recommendation may be rejected when the content has changed or now violates a rule, even if it previously appeared as an opportunity.

Auto Apply — Premium Pro#

Auto Apply is disabled by default. Before enabling it:

  1. Test analysis and manual Apply on several posts.
  2. Enable Scheduled Analysis.
  3. Set minimum confidence between 0.80 and 1.00.
  4. Limit each job to 1–3 links.
  5. Save the settings and monitor Reports.

To stop automatic content changes, disable Auto Apply and save. The background queue may continue analyzing content without modifying it.
