Initial Configuration and AI Engine#

Go to NexaPress > Settings once the license is active.

Workflow status#

  • Active enables the NexaPress workflow and scheduler.
  • Not Active stops automated workflows without disabling the WordPress plugin.

Choosing an AI engine#

Available engines:

  • Default or Current Engine
  • OpenAI
  • Gemini
  • Claude
  • Groq
  • DeepSeek
  • Z.ai
  • OpenRouter

The Default / Current Engine option uses the default configuration of the NexaPress service.

For other engines:

  1. Select an engine.
  2. Enter the API key for that engine.
  3. Fill in Model to use a specific model, or leave it blank to use the default model.
  4. Click Save Settings.

Leaving the API key field blank when saving does not delete the existing key. Use Clear saved API key to remove it.

Language and niche#

Select English or Indonesia. The niche list adapts to the selected language. Niches are optional, but help the API understand the context and focus of the article.

Posting Status#

Select the final outcome for all articles created by NexaPress:

  • Publish immediately directly publishes the article.
  • Save as draft saves the article as a draft so it can be reviewed and edited.

This option applies consistently across Generate Now, bulk campaigns, and the scheduler.

Draft articles still consume one quota when successfully generated and their keywords are marked as completed. Drafts are not sent to IndexNow or the Google Indexing API. Indexing submissions via the NexaPress workflow only occur when articles are created with Publish status.

Suggested Categories#

Enable Create a local category when no case-insensitive name match exists if the plugin is allowed to create WordPress categories from API recommendations.

If this option is disabled and no recommended category is found, NexaPress uses the campaign category or the default WordPress category.

Click Save Settings after making changes.

AI Plans and Own API Keys#

Every NexaPress license includes BYOK. Two plans are available:

  • BYOK uses your own provider API keys and does not deduct Default LeksaStudio AI quota. Technical service limits may still apply.
  • Default AI + BYOK also provides Default LeksaStudio AI with a daily article quota, while still allowing the use of your own API key.

Mode availability is determined by license entitlement from the server. Changing the local display or settings does not increase entitlement.

BYOK API keys are secret credentials. Do not send them via URLs, logs, support tickets, or screenshots. Rotate the key from the provider dashboard if a leak is suspected.
