FAQs and Recommendations#
Are images generated by AI?#
No. Images come from external sources returned by the Content API, such as Unsplash or Bing.
Are articles published immediately?#
It depends on the Posting Status selection. Publish immediately publishes the article right away, while Save as draft saves it for review. The same setting applies to "Generate Now," bulk campaigns, and the scheduler.
Draft articles still consume one quota unit if successfully created, but they are not sent to indexing services.
Does a retry consume quota again?#
A technical retry using the same request ID does not consume a second quota unit. Regenerating as a new request consumes a new quota unit.
Does closing the browser stop the campaign?#
No, not for tasks already in the background queue. Monitor results via the keyword list, activity log, or the Posts section.
Where can Content Refresh results be viewed?#
Monitor NexaPress > Logs and look for activity with the code content_refresh. Once the status is "success," open View refresh preview from the log or select View Refresh Preview in the Content Refresh menu. Reloading the page does not cancel the background process.
Does Content Refresh consume quota?#
Yes, every successful preview generated via Default AI consumes one quota unit, including when creating a new preview for the same article. BYOK uses your own API key and does not deduct from the Default AI quota. Apply Refresh & Update Published Post does not consume additional quota.
Does "Apply Refresh" modify the article immediately?#
Yes. The plugin creates a WordPress revision, updates the article title and content with the selected preview, and opens the WordPress editor for a final check. If the article has changed since the preview was generated, the "Apply" action is rejected to prevent overwriting the latest edits.
Is WordPress Multisite supported?#
Not yet. Licensing and activation are tied to specific domains and active plans.
Does submitting for indexing guarantee the article gets indexed?#
No. Submission merely notifies the indexing service; search engines determine whether and when a URL enters the index. ## Usage Recommendations
