Updates, Deactivation, and Uninstallation#

Checking for updates#

1. Go to NexaPress > License.
2. Click Check Update.
3. Go to Dashboard > Updates.
4. Run the update like a regular WordPress plugin.

Before updating, back up your database and files, ensure the license is active, and avoid modifying core plugin files. After updating, check the version, license status, and configuration, then test a single article if the changes are significant.

Transferring a license#

Use NexaPress > License > Deactivate License before migrating the website or using an activation slot on another domain.

Deactivating the plugin#

Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, then click Deactivate. NexaPress scheduled hooks are cleared, while published articles remain intact.

Deleting the plugin#

After deactivation, click Delete. Uninstallation is conservative and retains content and user data by default.
