Creating and Managing Campaigns#
Creating a campaign#
- Go to RSS ReWriter > Campaigns.
- Click Add Campaign.
- Enter the name and the RSS or Atom URL.
- Select a schedule and max articles per execution.
- Configure category, tags, author, and post status.
- Activate the campaign.
- Click Create Campaign.
Source and schedule#
RSS URL must be a valid feed URL accessible by the server. Schedule options:
- Hourly: once per hour
- Twice daily: twice daily
- Daily: once daily
Max Articles per Execution accepts values from 1–100. This value limits a single campaign execution; daily license quotas still apply.
Categories and tags#
For categories, select:
- Auto From AI to use AI-generated categories
- Force Campaign Category to always use a specific WordPress category
For tags, select:
- Auto From AI to use AI-generated tags
- Force Campaign Tags to replace AI tags with the campaign list
Separate campaign tags with commas or newlines.
Author and post status#
Authors can use the current admin/default, be randomly selected from available users, or assigned to a specific user. Results can be saved as a Draft for review or set to Publish Immediately.
Source, images, and content cleanup#
- Display Source adds a link to the original article at the end of the post.
- Set First Image as Featured uses the first image from the AI response as the featured image.
- Remove Text from Content removes every occurrence of configured words or phrases. Enter one item per line.
If the response contains no images, a featured image will not be created.
Article filters#
Required Article Keywords only processes items whose RSS title or summary contains at least one required word/phrase.
Ignored Article Keywords skips items whose title or summary contains prohibited words/phrases. Filters run prior to AI quota usage.
Enter one keyword or phrase per line. Matching is case-insensitive.
Running and monitoring#
Only active campaigns are processed by the scheduler. WP-Cron discovers new items, checks for duplicates and filters, rewrites the content, and creates the post.
The campaign edit page displays Last Run, Last Success, Last Failure, Last Error, Total Processed, Total Published, and Total Failed. Complete history is available in the dashboard and logs.
